Ariel Precision Medicine has been named Innovator of the Year in the life sciences category by the Pittsburgh Technology Council. The council evaluated Ariel’s business accomplishments as well as its technological advancements, including the company’s flagship product, ADVANCE®, a cloud-based clinical decision support (CDS) tool designed to simplify the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic disease.
The Pittsburgh Technology Council honors the 50 most innovative companies in the region based on their product and/or sales growth, corporate citizenship, job growth and retention, industry achievement and product or technology innovation.

Additional Accolades for Ariel Precision Medicine
The Ariel Precision Medicine team continues to receive recognition from around the country for its work. Gibson has been selected as a Pittsburgh Smart 50 Award honoree. The Smart 50 Awards “recognize the top executives of the 50 smartest companies in the Greater Pittsburgh region for their ability to effectively build and lead successful organizations.”
The Ariel team was also selected as a finalist for a Chicago Innovation Award. Over 450 companies were nominated and 100 finalists were selected to be honored for their innovation in the Chicago area.
In addition, Ariel was selected as a first-round finalist for the 2019 UCSF Digital Health Awards. The goal of the UCSF Digital Health Awards is to “help patients access amazing innovations by recognizing and awarding the great companies with the best in-market digital products and services.”
Ariel’s technology is nominated as a finalist in the Best EHR in Data Interoperability.
